@cathieleblanc I am not sure how chat features into my #indieweb LMS. I have been teaching in @slackHQ after using @withknown multi-site. A Chat+ environment is better pedagogy IMO. Though in the diagram I was trying to think how chat could be recreated with students still storing the OG posts on their own domain.
In terms of video I put in a feed for Nimbus, a screencast extension available in Firefox and Chrome, that may not be possible but seems doable. I pay for screencast-o-matic. It's awesome but was thinking about available browser only stuff. Long term need a video solution I am leaning on all video chats being ephermal rather than worry about who owns what data.
@cathieleblanc one thing I just thought about, and it's related to the GDPR webmetions discussion going on in the #indieweb chat is one click removal of student data.
I finish up every semester with a "How to Delete Everything Post" Students need to own their data. I am getting scared with the kind of insights #highered is doing with connecting analytics from the LMS to dining hall purchases for example.
So long and short. I would need to know if a student deleted their blog where they made all the comments on others through webmentions by posting on their own blog would the webmentions that show up as a comment on their peers blog delete as well?
