I love when I worry that a class isn't talkking enough and then they turn around their laptops and their a ton of voices shouting away in type as they debate in #edu305...that soon translates into oral discussion as well.
Yet now "turning off" or less screen time more a marker of privilege so I do not know of quantitative predictor of "concept of print" would work, but wonder if the primacy of words printed in books warrants the assessment and teaching of concepts of print #edu305
We know Concepts of Print a stable predictor of later literacy success I haven't seen the data or the tool to see if Concepts of Pixels does the same. My guess it would as both are great measures of privilege and inequity. #edu305
