Dissecting a WordPress #IndieWeb Post

Dissecting a WordPress #IndieWeb Post

Here is the first draft of my effort to dissect what an WordPress post looks like in the wild.

If youy begin by installing the plug-in and then following the how to included guide I belive this is what happens under the hood.

Open to feedback. And new finepoint sharpies.

Fun times. All made using animationfactory.com Not sure why they lost their animations over time. Guess gif files can run out of battery as well.

Hey #CTCASLCHAT let's model what it means to own our web presence

Hey #CTCASLCHAT let's model what it means to own our web presence

CT librarians serve on the front lines of the efforts to teach students to own their data. If you are already a WordPress blogger but want to learn more about taking control of the content you own by deciding where to share I encourage you to check out .

I am currently recruiting participants to do a "think aloud" as you install WordPress plug-ins and get your website compatible.

I just ask that you verbalize all of your decisions. After you are done I will help to make sure your settings are optimized.

Just reply if you are interested.

Pre-Planning Blog Posts

Every blog post I write I pre-plan. I also use my favorite edtech: paper. Here is the start on my reflection ot Dave Wiley's keynote. So glad the keynotes were streamed and archive going through each now and sharing my thoughts.

@chrisaldrich @wiobyrne Using my subscription plug and post-kind for #indieweb

Hey just trying to make it so the post-kind "notes" doesn't get sent to subscribers or get posted to my main feed.

Weird thing is I can not find "article" and "note" anywhere but in the post-kind plug-in. I look in subscriptions and here.

Both "article" and "note" seem to be grouped by standard and that is a category I can't exclude from my subcription plug-in.

Any ideas?
