Sounds
and knowledge
  pulse up
in opposite directions
   from the other
side

Greg McVerry

which stitch
  in this
niche
will
switch
a glitch
so instead
it enriches
 kids
in unhitched
  fitness
  to witness
evidence
    pitched
in fast-stiched
quilts
of
knowledge
  Find THAT string
and ring its
school bell

wrote a poem
explaining my eternal truth.
Hit cancel, not Publish
Knowledge lost
Unrecovered

Good questions on delineating between knowledge... Some people with deep knowledge may just want stuff to work. Some folks with no knowledge want it all. Personal question. Where between wanting to touch code and content

Greg McVerry

learning fuses
    as ideas melt
congeal
     coalescing in communities
as thought

New Knowledge

sparked on tips
of past as
spindles
rekindle flames
of desire
in
fibers of
unlit realities

Our professional organizations are addicted to conference and publication revenue, we recreate the false narrative of scarcity of knowledge and rarity of key gatekeepers. Let's not do that.

Hey here is the argumentative Vee Diagram we will use to plan our case study on comprehension: background knowledge or strategy instruction https://padlet.com/mcverryj1/4gnghnz5bm6jxnwv

Published a review of Bill Moyer's "Fooling with Words." Collection of interviews gets my highest book rating, "Do not give away." A rarity in my love of sharing knowledge: https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2020/05/14/fooling-with-words

wisdom
  born from
authority,
not cleaved
  from
knowledge
  spills over
with Truth
dousing away
candor in an
eddy of riposte
bubbling, fermenting
swirling in
righteousness
only found
by gouging out
the Owl's
third eye

Not day today
not a normal day
in the day sense of way
when knowledge of day
knotted away

A Cold rain in Many
May see snow Saturday
So I tucked away

Found my rock
dog shat
chased me away

saw a tree
decided to stay
shaved a pencil
to write a poem
graphite broke
wood splayed

So I read
instead

About a submarine in the
Cold War heyday
until raindrops
washed ink away

Folded the paper
Thinking of Jules Verne
That made it a special day
Not a not day
