Watch out for those pesky books too....don't want kids developing elbow or eye strain issues....best way to handle privacy and notifications is teach kids to build their own platform so you never are the product.

I think something magical happens when students can finish this sentence, "My url is" 100% believe the best thing schools could do to up digital skills is just provide every student with a Domain of One's Own

Yes Google Sites is awful way to build a website if you want to teach children how to build websites. I been digging on Ursula Franklin and the idea of holistic and prescriptive tech

I start with HTML because I am a teacher and it's one file. Can read it on Apple's latest tablet or etch into a stone tablet same thing. We spent last thirty years not teaching students to write the web.
