based on advice of @rjhogue I created a form to better match groups in my online teaching. I tried all the formats: random and self selection. Hopefully by matching students to time and format preference groups will improve https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf4o_aae8YndD9DMlV0xO8bu7vdJBHQQPi6nGS9RyA--Jp23g/viewform?...

Hey I made a video called, "So you want to blog?' https://jgregorymcverry.com/videos/SoYouWantToBlog.mp4 It is an overview of four blogging platforms you can use in class today. I will do an in depth tutorial of each over next few days

Just ordered paper record book. Think will improve online teaching. When did we decide every interaction, post needed a grade? Every assignment a rubric? Create your private record of student reflection. When did we decide this must all be public?

Anyone thought about carbon footprint and responsibility to print/not print in online learning? Some students prefer to printed text. Some of these students may not be able to afford the print or a toner? Do I have a responsibility to print?

I mean look who wrote report (it's really more an advert) AIR, a respectable organization...that sold their testing arm for an official butt ton of money. They need analytics. EDUCASE, also in the assessment business, and Nacubo, a finance company

Can anyone find me one study wehre analytics did good for students in ? https://changewithanalytics.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/JointAnalytics_EDU_2019_Final.pdf For analytics are just a scam sending money to accreditation instead of students

Instructional design tip: Always identify key vocabulary in each module. More for you than the learner. You must remember to present this is multiple modalities and look for evidence in use by students across modes.
