@dcummingsems bunch tools can searches into HTML or other formats using https://granary.io/. also use TAGS (Twitter archive to Google sheets) for searches: https://hawksey.info/tagsexplorer/arc.html?key=1C6n0iQSpgWEEB_Sqy0C4bT9ZCXKcgCvcxOKV6PphdFA&gid=... since it is iOS you have to deal with a sub par browser try a feed instead

Hey I updated the syllabus to note that each Module IS NOW TWO WEEKS long, please note my instruction only lasts one week so modules will overlap. I also added a feed to video tutorials and to the home page.

tip for myself on my class website I added an aside with an h-feed for important updates. Find I don't want to edit the file and push FTP with each announcement. Creating a new hashtag for , making an RSS feed, and embedding in the aside

Huge h/t to @sknebel for figuring out how to properly add the h-feed to @blogger homepage template. I couldn't do that all.

Inquisitive insights

And bites

Of fancy

As flights

Of bytes

Do their dancing

Tongues trodding out tales

And words prancing

Through screens

And dreams

Of bites and bytes

Nibbling on the earlobe of

Existence

My Notes from Chapter One of Digital Minimalism

1 min read

I will write a repsonse and capture quotes throughout the week but part of my digital minimalism is to enjoy books made from paper. I also think better on paper so ebverything I do begins there

Yet for twenty years I fill up random notebooks, moleskins, and scraps of paper with thoughts and lose them forever. Been trying to use Ian O'Byrne's idea of the common place book but never found my nitch. I stunk at Evernote, Google Keep failed, the only minimalist approach I could maximze is my own website.

If you would like to add my book club to your feed reader I will tag everything and the relevant . You can add that to any RSS, microformats, or JSON feed reader of choice. Then we could add a Slack bot if we want

The WordPress RSS block looks pretty good: https://pauljacobson.me/2019/02/08/pretty-excited-about-the-rss-block-in-gutenberg-5-0/ be neat if we could make an h-feed block as well

Do love me my RSS but not as much as the h-feed I recently discovered.

@benwerd thx for inspiring deep dive. @downes covered it in but never really read deep into spec. Seems both simple enough to implement and expansive enough for the most niche. Vocab spawning everywhere with no one really using them but falling back on basics.

here is a tutorial on how to sign up for inoreader and add our class feeds to yoru account. Then if you download the phone app you can get the feeds updated.

Of course you can always book mark class feed page. https://archive.org/details/AddClassFeedstoRSSReader
