All poems
about the same
history in everything
find the undefined
   and
make
         it
             poetic
haunted ruins
dense, layered
unknown
get moved and make it
poetic
all you need,
a body, a voice, an imagination
feed the jazz of
the poetic voice and
drag out a physical response
for
if you live
too much
in your
                  head
no bodily
poetry beyond
missing cadence
in hidden history of
every moment

Found poem from Robert Pinsky

Provide imagery for poems to
   heighten experience
in repetition of joy.

Finding meaning
in public symbols
requires not conscious
but
connections,
an image of the kind
sought in
simplicity of structure.

curious, nosy
insatiable.
The poet
lives in times
of great cruelty
eviscerated by the beauty around us

Electricity flowing
  poetry never
been a
Popular Sport
so test your
inner ear
hear a squash
ball
containment
back and forth
bouncing off walls
of translucent
  surfaces
as lines turn
taking sides in
creativty based
on complete ignorance.

Poets have glimpses
a knack, moving
glimmers to make
sens of life

Among white moon
faces teeenagers
understand
one thing
Anger overspills
in
Consciousness of
creativity that only
comes with practice
in Home and space
humans grounded
and remember
practice, practice, practice

Sounds swoon
Kora talks
in voices of West African
djelis
wind blowing through
strings
feeds me, feeds me
with sounds of choir
dissolve words into sounds
scat a a tat do do just dat
A silence in presence
a divinity in devotion
beyond time

Found Poem from Kurtis Lamkin

An inner voice
chameleonlike
offer yourself to what
you encounter for
musical scoring
inhabits
punctuation and
line breaks
forming the tone,
the Poetry

in

  Zen

poems touch
  and change
translucent
intentions of
simple answers
in tendrils of attention
pointing to
fertile directions

Found Poem from Jane Hirshfield

Poetry an
Argument with
self
  a stitch in a
flood, a gap in a
place of puzzlement
bewildered, sorrow
overspilled
I don't know
what I
   ponder until
I sit down
in quiet moments
stolen from the day

Strange
where do lines come
from?
Pull back from where
you are, lost in
mire
describe the
world
and
lift yourself out.
Turn the experience into art.
Make a Poem a Poem
by giving that experience
extra layers which
  work on the page
and invite others in

Found poem from Deborah Garrison

Poems
resonance on
in combined voices
  respond to loss
with love of sheer
   physical pleasure
       languages
sonic textures,
rythms

stand back
shape language to
gain distance
let it go

Sonic textures
marvel in
self expression
becoming
    art
as we let readers in

Found Poem from Mrk Doty

Classmates dead
I could have been one
wrote instead
an exercise of
   freedom
like a muscle it
grows strong
still thy self
in waiting
   language speaks
before an utterance
   perception calls
imagination to
   attention
