Knowledge both free and freeing. simply market and profit through oppression and exclusivity as gatekeepers beholden to conference and publication profits.

@aleciamarie @Mister_Ayyye this is a tool I have been working on to assess the space of learning rather than pretending to be able to fully measure the learners who inhabit that space: https://archive.jgregorymcverry.com/practices-and-participatory-learning-environments/

@AddieShrodes thx for sharing . I added ?s in case anyone is lurking on a screen reader
* What do theories and methodologies of literacy research offer that that those in media and communication studies do not?
* How do we interrogate notions of the anthropocene in this work with the digital?
* How do we reconcile authenticity of the every day as we conduct research that are guided by institutions of law and logic?

@ame_lemieux We should begin by ensuring great sessions like these aren't just locked away in a room of 20-30 people who could make it. Whether we appoint scribes (like chairs, discussant, encourage recording, and stream when bandwidth allows)

@Karis_M_Jones
Searching, thinking
while listening broken thoughts
screaming
our links of metaphor
ripping at targets
a source of
subjective
consciousness
just talking to yourself?
a personal poem
unfolding in the mind

@aleciamarie What an amazing crew live tweet, stream take notes, smoke signals, or something to share what is going on during session,

Greg McVerry

Sounds like the three of us have a research project ahead of us, but always happy to help get people off of data sucking commercial silos and rebuild our feeds from our website and readers. Tried to build LRA an open repository, went nowhere

Greg McVerry

We learned the hard way tries to take the most political position of being apolitical. They will quickly try to shut down any advocacy work, even when based on REAL science and research, attached to the LRA name.
