Had a great conversation today about evaluating tools. We talked about the primacy of pedagogy and how we evaluate our tool use. Here was my fav exchange

I think technology gives us new ways to capture metacogntion....not to measure it but to add to our assessment toolkits. We can record think alouds, have students revise in comment, publish portfolios, etc.
